<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus and a die apparatus that are capable of keeping equal the molding temperatures and molding pressures of all of a plurality of molding materials (e.g. glass) in simultaneously heating and pressurizing them. <P>SOLUTION: The molding apparatus comprises a cylindrical mold 12 having a plurality of through-holes, a cope and a drag (15 and 16) set inside a through-hole and holding a molding material 10 for an optical element, a joint mechanism including a first member 22 capable of coming into contact with all the upper ends (15) of a plurality of pairs of a cope and a drag set inside a plurality of the through-holes and including a second member 21 flexibly jointed to the center of the first member 22, and means 25 and 27 which support the lower ends (16) of the plurality of the copes and the drags and pressurize the molding material held between the copes and the drags by reducing the distance between the upper ends and the lower ends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
