PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair where a seat part is swung by moving of a fulcrum by forming a projecting part between the seat part and a receiving part. SOLUTION: The chair has a mechanism where the projecting part 4 is formed between the seat part 3 and the receiving part 2 and connected by elastic bodies 5. Without regard to the material and the surface state of a floor, only inclining of the upper half of the body of a sitting person swings the chair smoothly with omnidirectional moving of the fulcrum. This chair is swung only by inclining the upper half of the body without swinging the body remarkably as against a rocking chair. Since the seat part makes neither see-saw movement consisting of only inclination by one fulcrum nor precession of the precession like a top but smooth swinging, a burden is not put on the lower back and buttocks, thereby the person can keep sitting for a long period. In addition, the person obtains peacefulness by repeating swinging, and congestion and a lower back pain are prevented effectively by moving of the body and reduction of pressure by the weight of the body.
