<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable detection performance of high reliability by combining not only a detection function to detect a passer but also a time management function which manages detection information of the passer in distinction between a time zone of validity and that of invalidity. SOLUTION: In a CPU, not only the function to detect a passer 17 by first to tenth passage detection sensors S1 to S10 but also the time management function which manages the detected information in distinction between a time zone of validity and that of invalidity are combined to obtain true passage information of the passer 17. In this time management function, detection is invalidated for a certain time after all passage detection sensors S2, S3, S7, and S8 in a central detection area A3 detect passage of the passer 17. Because of this detection time management, only first required detection information of the passer 17 can be handled as effective information and unnecessary detection information just after detection can be handled as ineffective information since detection is invalidated for the certain time once passage of the passer 17 is detected.</p> |
