摘要 PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescence device is provided to reduce the difference of resistances between current paths of the device, by reducing the difference of sizes of currents flowing at each position in the light emitting region of the device. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescent device comprises the first electrode; the second electrode made of a material having a volume resistivity equal to or higher than the volume resistivity of the first electrode; and an organic layer interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The second electrode includes a substantially rectangular electrode region(13) contacting the organic layer; a terminal portion(11) disposed in a predetermined position along the outer periphery of the electrode region, wherein the terminal portion is connected with an external drive circuit; and a conductive portion for electrically connecting the terminal portion to the electrode portion. The conductive portion includes the first joint(12b) connected to the terminal portion; the second joint(12a) connected to the outer periphery of the electrode region; and a conductive portion body(12c) extended between the first joint and the second joint such that the conductive portion body electrically connects the first joint to the second joint.
