PURPOSE: A side switch device of a mobile terminal is provided to prevent malfunction of a tact switch resulted from the fact that an operation button is unnecessarily pressed. CONSTITUTION: First and second tact switches(121a,121b) are installed with a certain interval therebetween vertically at one side of a printed circuit board embedded in a terminal case. A through hole(122) is formed at one side of the case and positioned between the first and second tact switches(121a,121b). A shaft bar(123) is formed integrally protruded at an inner front surface and rear surface of the case by traversing a central line of the through hole(122) between the through hole(122) and the first and second tact switches(121a,121b). An operation terminal(124) is axially and rotatably installed at the shaft bar(123) and includes one end which is protruded to outer side of the terminal case through the through hole(122) and the other ends which are positioned near the first and second tact switches(121a,121b) and rotated at a certain angle in a vertical direction by an external force so as to selectively contact with or be released from the first and second tact switches(121a,121b).
