PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slatboard bed which can air the bedding on the bed. SOLUTION: Supporting members are peripherally provided on each inside of a headboard, a footboard, and side plates which form the main body of the bed. A reinforcing crosspiece is bridged laterally at the central parts of the supporting members fixed on the external side plates. V-shaped grooves are provided in a symmetrical pattern around the central part of the supporting member.
