<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an IC card, of a single-sided contact type with a plurality of contact terminals arrayed in two rows, capable of connecting a plurality of contacts used in contact with these contact terminals in high density at one part of a printed circuit board by drawing them out from an end part of a housing retaining them. <P>SOLUTION: Two contact groups corresponding to each row of the plurality of contact terminals arrayed on the IC card in two rows are arranged at one side of insertion grooves for the IC card of the housing in parallel with an insertion direction of the IC card and in two steps so as to be overlapped as seen from above, and at the same time, are held extended to an end part in the same direction of the housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
