An electrode for a fuel cell is provided to comprise a catalytic layer that includes a proton conductor having persistent and excellent electroconductivity even under a high-temperature non-humidifying condition and has maximized catalyst availability. The electrode for a fuel cell comprises a supporter, and a catalytic layer formed on the supporter. The catalytic layer contains a supported catalyst, and a proton conductor which includes P2O5 and at least one material selected from the group consisting of B2O3, ZrO2, SiO2, WO3, and MoO3 and has a amorphous phase weight ratio of 60% or more. The proton conductor is contained in an amount of 0.5-60 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the supported catalyst. |
