METHOD FOR PRODUCING FATTY ACID ESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely simple method for producing a fatty acid ester having high purity and containing extremely little unreacted oil-and-fat and reaction intermediate from an oil-and-fat and an alcohol.

SOLUTION: The fatty acid ester is produced by reacting an oil-and-fat with an alcohol in the presence of a 3rd component of supercritical or subcritical state under a condition not to form a homogeneous phase.
