PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set having a circuit configuration and an internal structure wherein a low-frequency signal processing part is hardly affected by transmission radio waves. SOLUTION: In the portable telephone set which performs transmission/reception by radio, an area to dispose a high-frequency signal processing part including an antenna and an area to dispose a low-frequency signal processing part including a speaker are determined, the area to dispose the high-frequency signal processing part and the area to dispose the low-frequency signal processing part are arranged separately within the portable telephone set in an active state, and particularly, the high-frequency signal processing part is provided near a microphone.
