PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body structure which improves the operability when a side door is opened/closed regarding a vehicle of which the roof height is low. SOLUTION: This car body structure is constituted in such a manner that the upper end section 2b of a window frame 2 of the side door A which opens/closes by turning horizontally forms a part of the roof section of the vehicle, and at the same time, a door handle 10 for opening/closing the side door A is provided on the upper end section 2b. Since the upper end section 2b of the window frame 2 of the side door A forms a part of the roof section of the vehicle, the getting on/off property becomes excellent regarding the vehicle of which the roof height is low. At the same time, since the door handle 10 is provided on the upper end section 2b, the position of the door handle 10 becomes higher, and a passenger does not need to bend down as much as a conventional vehicle when the door handle 10 is operated.
