ELECTRIC MACHINE OF MULTIPLE PHASE EQUIPPED WITH ROTATION SOURCE POSITION SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric machine capable of avoiding signal distortion generated by a stray magnetic field of a glow pawl rotor in a rotation source position sensor system.

SOLUTION: A sensor element 40 of a detector 39 is protruded axially in a cutout 36 in the axial direction of a yoke ring 35a of soft magnetism rotated together with a rotor shaft 20. As a result, the sensor element 40 is made so as to be oppose a pole ring 37 fixed to the yoke ring 35a in the cutout 36 through an air gap 42.
