PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue container, from which a rolled tissue sheet can be pulled out upward smoothly through the center of a lid capping a container body, and which maintains a holding force on the tissue sheet at an outlet of the lid for a long time. SOLUTION: The tissue container comprises the cylindrical container body 1 with a bottom, in which the rolled tissue sheets 2 are stored, and the circular lid 4, which closes the open top face of the container body 1 and has the outlet 5 for taking out the tissue sheet 2 at the center of the lid 4. The outlet 5 extends radially outward from the center of the lid 4 and includes five arc-like incisions 18 curving laterally, which form five elastically deformable resistance pieces 19 of these incisions 18 on the outlet 5.
