PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which has fewer surface defects than the conventional one, on which dark and light stripes due to die lines are not found, and which ensures small birefringence. SOLUTION: The optical film comprises an amorphous thermoplastic resin obtained by melt extrusion.
