PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a suitable pressing force by preventing deflection of a mounting part of a leaf spring which generates the pressing force for frictionally holding a rotation position of a display in a recording device, and to realize its holding mechanism in a reduced space. SOLUTION: When the leaf spring 28 presses an engaging part 22b of the display 22 via a pad 27, a cover 23d which secures the leaf spring 28 receives a downward reaction force. However, an engagement rib 2c butts against an engagement rib 23b of an operation part unit 20, whereby the cover 23d of the unit 20 can be prevented from being deflected downward by the reaction force. In consequence, a friction force between the pad 27 and the engagement rib 22b is prevented from decreasing due to a reduction of the pressing force of the leaf spring 28 by the deflection.
