PURPOSE: A correction data setting method of an electrode sensor for a washing machine is provided to sense the conductivity of the water and to exactly check the quality of the water by setting correction data according to detection deviation of a conductivity calculating unit and memorizing the correction data in a memory unit. CONSTITUTION: A correction data setting method of an electrode sensor for a washing machine is composed of steps for measuring a detection value about a conductivity calculating unit of an electrode sensor under a reference condition(S101,S102); setting correction data for compensating the detection deviation of the conductivity calculating unit by comparing and judging the measured detection value of the conductivity calculating unit with reference data(S103,S104,S105); and memorizing the set correction data in a memory unit embedded in the washing machine(S106).
