PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective liquid crystal display device in which abnormal alignment of a liquid crystal is suppressed, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In the reflective liquid crystal display device which is provided with a TFT substrate 3 with a plurality of pixel electrodes disposed thereon in a matrix, a counter substrate placed opposite to the TFT substrate holding a specified gap in between and a liquid crystal 4 held in the gap between the TFT substrate and the counter substrate, a slope part 1 with≥35°and≤55°slope is formed on an outer peripheral part of the pixel electrode 2 so as to reduce a depth of a pixel groove.
