PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming die driving device which is easy in maintenance, is free from environmental pollution, improves the finish forming precision, can sufficiently absorb eccentric loads from a work, performs its operation rapidly, can reduce a motor capacity when the work is pressed, and can be installed in a narrow space. SOLUTION: The forming die driving device has a case 27 provided below a forming die D' in an advancing/retracting manner, and a push-up member 28 of a die chip 22 is fitted to an upper portion of the case 27 in a vertically movable manner. A screw member 30 having a left screw part 30L and a right screw part 30R with a left nut member 31L and a right nut member 31R respectively screwed thereto is fitted therebelow in a vertically movable and rotatable manner. A link mechanism 39 is provided, which is pivotably attached to the right and left nut members 31L and 31R to vertically move the push-up member 28. A slip-rotation coupling unit 41 is provided, which rotatably couples the screw member 30 side with an output shaft 40 side of a motor M installed outside the case 27 in a slipping manner.
