<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for spectroscopic measurement for physical properties of a microchemical substance, in particular, a spectroscopic means for measuring physical properties suitable for a microchemical plant. <P>SOLUTION: This micro-spectroscopic measuring instrument is constituted of structure layered with a micro spectroscopic element using an array of photonic crystals having defects, a flow passage for introducing a sample, and photodetecting elements having sensitivity in a band range over from a near infrared area to an infrared area. This instrument solves a problem of difficulty of realizing that functions for measuring an absorption spectrum of a reaction product, and for allowing precise qualitative and quantitative analysis are integrated in a micro portion, and that those are mounted on or connected to a microchemical system, generally in the chemical plant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
