摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of reducing the kinds of identification information without lowering game interest. <P>SOLUTION: In a special game state, a CPU (central processing unit) first displays the number of times of special pattern games at a countdown display part 42 of a variable display device. Then, the CPU sets a special pattern array table depending on whether it is in a probability varying state or a time shortening state and decides second special pattern array data. Also, the CPU compares first special pattern array data and the decided second special pattern array data, reports reduced special patterns, also executes the variable display of the special pattern by using the decided second special pattern array data and temporarily stops it at a temporary stop pattern. Then, the CPU adds one reduced special pattern to the second special pattern array data and repeats it until the number of the special patterns of the second special pattern array data becomes equal to the number of the special patterns of the first special pattern array data.
