<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a power loss in a switching power source circuit having a power factor improving function corresponding to a lower power of 350 W or more. <P>SOLUTION: The switching power source circuit includes a compound resonant converter of a half-bridge coupling type assembled at an at least primary side assembled with a partial voltage resonance circuit. A conduction angle of AC input current is enlarged to improve a power factor by the rectifying operation of a 4-fold voltage rectifier circuit in which an amplitude relationship is imparted to the capacitance of a smoothing capacitor and voltage feeding back a switching output to a rectifying current route of a rectifying and smoothing circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
