PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guiding device and a route guidance method for utilizing character string data included in spot information in distribution data for guiding a route in relation to map data by utilizing the distribution data, such as browsing data. SOLUTION: An information center C receives perusal data from a web system W via a network I, searches spot information, based on the browsing data, and corrects the distribution data so that the character string data for indicating a spot included in the spot information can be linked to desired map data. Additionally, the information center C links the corrected browsing data to the desired map data for creating as link data for guiding a route and transmitting to a navigation system N when a link request is received from the navigation system N.
