CATIONIC ELECTRODEPOSITION COATING COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cationic electrodeposition coating composition that reduces sagging and foaming at the time of coating film baking, improves oil cissing resistance of a coating film surface and exhibits a good skin appearance without carrying out a composition change such as addition of a viscosity modifier and a rise in concentration of an organic acid to reduce a coating film appearance and precipitation of an electrodeposition coating. SOLUTION: A blocked isocyanate in the cationic electrodeposition coating comprises 7-90 mass % of an aromatic blocked isocyanate. The blocking agent of the aromatic blocked isocyanate is a 4-10C ethylene glycol ether-based compound. A pigment dispersion paste comprises 40-50 mass % of extender pigment having 60-100 ml/100g oil absorption in the whole pigment, the solid content concentration of the pigment dispersion paste is 55-58 mass % and the zinc ion concentration in the coating composition is 450-500 ppm.
