<p>The fluid connection vessel (1) has a flat lid (2) with a connection with a nipple (6) for a hose leading to the patient and a vacuum line connection (3). The fluid is collected in a bag (B) whose top edge is connected to a head plate (5) fitting to the underside of the lid. The bag is surrounded by an airspace (A) connected to the vacuum line. Air may flow from the bag to the vacuum line via a membrane (9) which is impervious to liquids.</p> |
