METHOD, CIRCUIT, AND SYSTEM FOR USING IDLE TIME OF DYNAMIC FREQUENCY SCALING CACHE MEMORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a circuit and a system for using an idle time of a dynamic frequency scaling cache memory. SOLUTION: Access to the dynamic frequency scaling cache memory in an idle time of a single low-frequency dynamic frequency scaling clock cycle is disclosed. The access can begin during the idle time of in single low-frequency dynamic frequency scaling clock cycle, and may continue during a subsequent low-frequency dynamic frequency scaling clock cycle. The idle time is a time interval in the single low-frequency dynamic frequency scaling clock cycle between termination of a single high-frequency dynamic frequency scaling clock cycle and termination of the single low-frequency dynamic frequency scaling clock cycle.
