PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give no dead end warning when having previously gone to a certain spot inside a dead end passage. SOLUTION: In this navigation device with a dead end warning function outputting warning before the dead end passage, it is decided whether the front side of the passage is a dead end or not, the dead end passage is registered as an already-accessed dead end passage (an access dead end passage) when accessing the dead end passage. When approaching the dead end passage, it is decided whether the dead end passage is the access dead end passage or not, the warning is outputted therebefore when it is not the access dead end passage, and the warning is not outputted when it is the access dead end passage.
