Both lower and upper locations for bicycles have a surrounding housing (3), with a locking door (21). The upper holding rail (4) moves longitudinally on the fixed pivot point (26) into the storage position within the housing. In the loading and unloading positions the rail slides out from the front edge of the housing (3). A spring tensioned clamping arm holds the front wheel of the upper bicycle, and a rear stop assembly (5) holds the rear wheel. A motorized lifting system is included.
