PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle for obtaining sufficient heating performance, even under an extremely low temperature outside air environment. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, a plurality of heat exchangers 3 and 4 for heat radiation are disposed. In each of the heat exchangers 3 and 4, circulation passages L1 and L2 of coolant are formed. A heating means 20 is installed at a position where a heat exchange can be performed with the cabin outside heat exchanger 3 for heat radiation installed at the outside of a cabin, of the heat exchangers 3 and 4 for heat radiation.
