PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting the phase separation structure of a polymer material, which can make an assumed value of circumferential boundary condition further close to the true value while shortening the time required for repeated calculations in a self consistent theory, and converge a free energy density to a further stable structure to precisely simulate the condition of a phase transfer without distortion, and a method for producing a polymer material by the prediction method. SOLUTION: The method for predicting the phase separation structure of a polymer material comprises a process for inputting the primary structure parameter of a polymer compound that is a component of the polymer material, a process for inputting a monomer interaction energy parameterχ, a process for inputting component composition ratios, a process for forming a roughly visualized model, and a process for calculating a micro phase separation structure by dynamic mean field approximation (self consistent field theory or the like) by use of grating constant optimization method.
