<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card with no defect and tailing of a picture pattern and a method of decorating the card in the card prepared by transferring the picture pattern by an indirect sublimation transferring method. <P>SOLUTION: This card 1 is characterized by having a picture pattern transferring part by sublimation transferring and a picture pattern non-transferring part consisting of a magnetic recording part on the surface of the card, and having a level difference of 0.5μm to 5μm on the boundary part between the surface of a card base body and the surface of a magnetic recording part. The method of manufacturing the card is characterized by transferring the picture pattern under a condition where the level difference D2 of 0.5μm to 5μm is provided on the boundary part between the surface of the card base body and the surface of the magnetic recording part, in a method for decorating wherein the picture pattern layer is thermally transferred on a specified part except the magnetic recording part of the card having the picture pattern non-transferring part consisting of the magnetic recording part on a part of the surface of the card base body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
