<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spout which securely holds a cap in an opened position by a simple structure, in the spout having a structure in which a spout body and the cap are connected with a hinge. <P>SOLUTION: The spout 1 comprises a spout body 2, and a cap 3 which is connected to the spout body 2 via the hinge 4 and capable of uncovering or covering the upper face of the discharging part 2a of the spout body 2. In the spout 1, the top portion 3a of the cap 3 has a lock claw 3g which locks on the top seal 5a of a paper container 5 to which the spout 1 is attached.
