The device (1) is for packing in a plastic bag small packets (5) deposited through an input aperture (4) in a safe deposit (3) bricked into a wall (2). The device has a frame (7), to which a suspension device (8) is fixed. A seal device (10) and a control (11) are provided. The seal device has two seal beams, one of which is fixed to the frame. The other beam is fitted to the end of a lever fitted around a hinge point. A plastic bag (9) is suspended from the suspension device.
