INTERSECTION GUIDING METHOD OF NAVIGATION SYSTEM FOR GUIDING MOVING TARGET BY DETERMINING KINDS OF ROADS CONNECTED TO INTERSECTION AND PRIORITIZING DETERMINED ROADS

PURPOSE: An intersection guiding method of a navigation system is provided to guide a moving target corresponding to traffic light system installed at the intersection by analyzing information of roads connected to the intersection and prioritizing the analyzed roads. CONSTITUTION: A main controller sets up and guides a traveling path from a present location to a destination of a moving target and determines a state of the moving target approaching an intersection(304). Road information related to the intersection is read from a map data storage unit when the moving target approaches a preset location of the intersection(306). The moving target goes straight according to a guiding operation of a navigation system when a road from the map date storage corresponds to a road which a moving target will go, the road which the moving target will go is within a preset angle based on the road from the map date storage, and the road which the moving target will go is priority(308-314).
