External rotor motor comprises a labyrinth (58), and a sealing ring (60) arranged in the labyrinth and consisting of a sealing lip (62) dragging on a rotor (6) or stator (8) and a protrusion (64) protruding into the labyrinth. An independent claim is also included for a seal for sealing the engine inner chamber of an external rotor motor.
