A battery plate comprises a stack of electrically interconnected metal foils e.g. nickel foils, separated from one another by active mass and formed with uniformly distributed holes which register to form continuous passages through the plate. Additional holes may be formed in each foil to come into register and receive locating spigots. If the spigots are metallic, they will form the electrical connection. Alternatively the said connection can be made by welding. |
