PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head in which inflow of adhesive into a nozzle is prevented and ejection accuracy can be enhanced by performing flow rate control with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The ink jet head 1 comprises a nozzle plate 29 having a plurality of nozzles 8 for ejecting ink, and a cover plate 28 having a plurality of openings 28a communicating with the nozzles 8 wherein the nonejection side surface of the nozzle plate 29 and the ejection side surface of the cover plate 28 are bonded by adhesive 40 under a state where the nozzles 8 are communicating with the openings 28a. The gap between the opposing nozzle plate 29 and cover plate 28 is defined by a plane forming the ejection side surface of the cover plate 28 in the nozzle 8 of a bonding region, and a curved surface forming the nonejection side surface of the nozzle plate 29 and receding gradually from that plane as it approaches the nozzle 8.
