PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter equipped with an automatic centering tip part.

SOLUTION: A balloon catheter and a stent delivery system is equipped with a tip part having a combination structure for automatic centering and used for therapy of patients. This tip part has 2.5 mm or less of length along the axis in the longitudinal direction from the point on which a balloon prong collar and a catheter shaft meet to the catheter tip. This tip part is defined by two or more taper cam surfaces.
