PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop antenna that is matched to a cable impedance over a wide range of frequencies with a simple structure and emits radio waves efficiently. SOLUTION: Parallel lines 21 that exhibit an intermediate impedance between an antenna emitting impedance of a loop antenna element and an impedance of a connecting cable and whose distance is fixed are connected with an output portion of the loop antenna element 11. By making the lengths of the parallel lines 21 equal to an approximately fourth wavelength of a frequency received, an output impedance of the antenna is matched to an impedance of a transmission cable.
