<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coding equipment capable of realizing a predictive coding by a low processing load. <P>SOLUTION: The coding equipment 2 decides the consecutive number of the same pixel value regarding target pixel X consecutive in the main scanning direction, decides the consecutive number of the same pixel value regarding reference pixels B consecutive in the main scanning direction and decides whether or not the pixel value of the reference pixels B and the pixel value of the target pixels X coincide in at least one of the target pixels X in which the same pixel value is consecutive. When the coincidence of the pixel values of the reference pixel B and the target pixel X is decided, a part of the coincidence information of the reference pixels B and the target pixels X is generated on the basis of the consecutive number of the pixels X and the consecutive number of the pixels B, and the coincidence information of the pixel value of the pixels X and the pixel value of the pixels B is coded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
