GAS-BARRIER COMPOSITION PRECURSOR, COATING AGENT AND FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-barrier coating agent and a gas-barrier film coated therewith excellent in gas-barrier tendency under high humidities and productivity. SOLUTION: A gas-barrier composition precursor is provided, comprising (A) a chitosan compound and (B) polycarboxylic acid(s) corresponding to at least one of (B-1) a compound having in one molecule at least two structures each with a carboxy group bound to each of consecutive two carbon atoms or (B-2) a compound with at least one carboxy group bound to each of consecutive three or more carbon atoms in the molecule, wherein the mass ratio of the compound A to the compound B is (90:10) to (10:90).
