FIELD EMISSION DEVICE, FIELD EMISSION BASE PLATE, DRIVE UNIT, AND DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission device, a field emission base plate, a drive unit and a display capable of obtaining uniform field emission characteristics.

SOLUTION: A field emission means 1120 emitting electrons when a given voltage is impressed, and a variable resistor means 1130 connected in series with the field emission means 1120 and changing an electric resistance value in accordance with a current value of an emission current generated when the electrons are emitted by the field emission means are provided. The electric resistance value of the variable resistor means 1130 decreases as the current value of the emission current decreases, so that the uniform field emission characteristics can be obtained.
