A fuel cell power generation system comprises a fuel processor, a fuel cell, a burner configured to heat said fuel processor, a fuel gas passage connected to said fuel processor, said fuel cell, and said burner, a water supply device configured to supply the water to said fuel processor, a material feed device, a purge air supply device configured to supply purge air that purges the fuel gas to said fuel processor, wherein during a stop operation of said fuel cell power generation system, a first purging is performed using a steam in an interior of said fuel processor and an interior of said fuel cell, then, a second purging is performed using humidified air in the interior of said fuel cell, and a third purging is performed using unhumidified air in the interior of said fuel processor.
