The invention relates to a fluid injection device (1) comprising a protruding needle (40). One end of the aforementioned needle forms a valve (41) and can be moved between a closed position, in which the valve (41) seals the fluid-release opening (13), and a given open position, in which the valve (41) is positioned at a controlled distance from said opening (13). The invention is characterised in that the movement of the valve (41) between the closed position and the open position is produced by the controlled intrinsic extension of the protruding needle (40).
