PURPOSE: A method for deciding the size of an air duct for air-conditioning is provided to reduce working hours, and to modularize the duct by sorting ducts according to the purpose and characteristics of the building and deciding the size of the duct corresponding to the air flow sheet based on air flow, friction loss and flow rate. CONSTITUTION: Ducts are sorted into main ducts, branch ducts, vertical branch ducts, external air inlets and blower outlets according to the permissible wind velocity of the low speed duct(S21). The air flow sheet is made out according to the engineering unit considering air amount, friction loss and flow rate(S22). The size of the duct is decided by detecting the air flow sheet produced considering factors to decide the duct size, and the size of the duct is decided to minimize the amount of ducts and the space between floors of the building based on the engineering unit(S23,S24).
