FIELD: machine engineering equipment, namely wrenches for screwing and unscrewing tubes. ^ SUBSTANCE: wrench includes housing with profiled inner surface serving as cam to be engaged with rollers. Axles of rollers are coupled with clamping members having fixing inserts. Housing is mounted on base by means of sliding bearing assembly. Base has end protrusion with grooves in which clamping members closed by means of restricting cover plates are mounted. Clamping members are arranged one opposite to other and they are mutually joined through two guides in the form of rods of round cross section. Return springs rested upon ends of clamping members are mounted on guides. Housing has cylindrical portion engaged with braking device. Base is joined with drive shaft of reduction gear and it limits axial motion of housing. ^ EFFECT: simplified design of wrench. ^ 9 cl, 3 dwg |
