POWER SUPPLY CONTROL CIRCUIT TO BE TURNED OFF AT ERRORS AND AUTOMATICALLY RESTARTED AFTER PREDETERMINED INTERVAL

PURPOSE: A power supply control circuit is provided to prevent a short circuit in a production line by automatically restarting an overall system after a predetermined time from an erroneous situation of an internal circuit. CONSTITUTION: A power supply control circuit includes a protection function sensing circuit(210), a latch portion(230), and a reset portion(220). The protection function sensing circuit(210) senses errors of a chip circuit such as an open-circuit of a feedback loop, or an overheat of the chip circuit. The protection function sensing circuit(210) outputs a circuit protection signal at an active state, when the errors occur. The latch portion(230) receives the circuit protection signal from the protection function sensing circuit(210) and a reset signal, and outputs a latch signal at an active state, only when the reset signal is deactivated and the circuit protection signal is activated. The reset portion(220) outputs the reset signal at an active state to reset the power supply control circuit.
