PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the realization of a new transmission system by transmitting a transmission signal between a vibration element and a transmission and reception section as a voltage signal and inputting a reception signal as a current signal in ultrasonic diagnostic equipment. SOLUTION: A transmission circuit 16 is provided with a pair of input/output transistors Q1 and Q2 having positive/negative symmetry. A signal line 202 is connected to those emitter common nodes and the transmission signal is inputted in those base common nodes. Transistors Q3 and Q4 are disposed to reduce a mirror effect of those transistors Q1 and Q2, and the reception signal is taken out as a collector current of those transistors Q3 and Q4. The transistors Q1 and Q2 function as base grounded circuits during reception and function as collector grounded circuits during transmission. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
