PURPOSE: A method for reading an OMR(Optical Mark Recognition) card or sheet through an image process in a local or remote place is provided to offer an examination result in a short time at a lower expense and enable a user to use any pen without using a specified OMR pen. CONSTITUTION: An image is changed to a standard size(S3). A color level of the image is standardized/stored to the first color arrangement(S5). The image is rotated to 180 angular degrees by judging a range of a timing mark on the first color arrangement and is stored to the second color arrangement(S6). The second color arrangement is rightly rotated to correct a scan error and is stored to the first color arrangement(S7). A precise lengthwise position of the timing mark is determined from the first color arrangement(S8). The effective color is determined by analyzing the color of an answer mark area from the first color arrangement and a color average is calculated(S9). Entire arrangement of the answer marks is judged from the first color arrangement by referring to the effective color/color average(S10). A concentration of a black mark on an arrangement position of the answer mark is calculated(S11). |
