Assessment of performance and stress-tolerance for vehicle-drivers

Method for measuring the mental condition, e.g. ability to work under pressure, of a person driving a vehicle, by analysis of brain signals. Accordingly the brain signals are simultaneously derived and analyzed in a number of frequency bands. The invention also relates to a corresponding device for implementing the inventive method comprising a microprocessor system for storage and analysis of electroencephalogram (EEG) signals.
