摘要 PURPOSE: An optical module of an optical isolator structure is provided to perform the function of isolator without including two polarizers arranged in such a way that their polarization axes are crossed from each other at 45 degrees. CONSTITUTION: An optical module of an optical isolator structure includes a semiconductor laser(210), a polarizer(230) and a Faraday rotator(220). The semiconductor laser outputs a first light with a linearly polarization of a predetermined polarization mode. The polarization axis of the polarizer is sloped about 45 degrees with respect to the first light and faces with one end of the semiconductor laser. The Faraday rotator is positioned between the semiconductor laser and the polarizer so as to match the first light with the polarization axis of the polarizer. And, the Faraday rotator rotates the second light inputted into the inside thereof from the polarizer by 45 degrees so as to have a polarization mode orthogonal to the first light and outputs the rotated second light to the semiconductor laser.
